It has been a long offseason of major change in the LCS and fans are just waiting to see what comes next. After much uncertainty, the LCS has dropped to eight teams and it will be interesting to see how this affects the standings with six teams making the playoffs in the Spring Split. With that, here are the LCS 2024 Spring Split Power Rankings for Week 1.

LCS 2024 Power Rankings
Below are the LCS 2024 Power Rankings for Week 1. This will be updated weekly so make sure to check back at The Game Haus to see where your team has moved or held for each week of LCS action.
8. Dignitas (Last Week: -)
Many believe that Dignitas are a dark horse candidate this season and in a 10-team LCS, this may have been the case. But with fewer teams, the talent pool is much stronger at the top than in years past. Rich will be the focal point of this team and opponents know that. It will pass to Tomo and Dove to try and take some of the heat off the top lane for this team to find success. This will take time at a minimum and it is why they start the year at the bottom of the Power Rankings.
7. Immortals (Last Week: -)
This team is one of the more random ones. Armao, Tactical and Olleh are all veterans of the LCS with varying levels of success while Castle and Mask are almost completely unknowns. If there is a dark horse team that could pull off some wins to start the season though, this is the squad. The veteran talent is good enough to hold things together and it will be up to the two former LCK Challengers players to show that Korean teams missed out on them.
6. Shopify Rebellion (Last Week: -)
The core of Bugi and Insanity are definitely worth watching. If they improved from last year then they could be one of the surprise mid-jungle duos in the LCS. Add Zeyzal who is finally getting another shot after some weird years and these three could form a really solid team. The questions surround FakeGod and Bvoy. If they can finally reach their potential in a major reason then this is a squad that could quickly shoot up many pundits Power Rankings.
5. 100 Thieves (Last Week: -)
It is finally time. Sniper and Meech are getting their shot at starting in the LCS. Sniper in particular has been someone 100 Thieves fans have been waiting on for some time. River and Eyla have a lot of experience and should be able to provide the veteran leadership in-game along with their own talent to help this team win games. The questions will still float around the only holdover from 2023, Quid. If he continues to be better than expected, this is easily the team that could break into the top four of the LCS. Or they could be a team that loses more games than 100 Thieves have ever lost in one Split. The jury is truly out and we will have to wait and see how they perform on the Rift to get answers.
4. FlyQuest (Last Week: -)
There is a very good chance that this ranking is much too low for FlyQuest. But after their abysmal 2023, they scraped everything and brought in some big names. The top side of Bwipo and Inspired have missed quite a bit of time at the highest level of play and even though both are excellent players, it will take that time for the rust to come off. Jensen earned his spot in the LCS and will look to continue that as he inches closer to the dreaded age of 30. Then there is Massu and Busio who are the young core in the bot lane. This team could be incredibly good or look like 2023 Summer FlyQuest and flame out big time. If nothing else, their games will be worth watching.
3. Team Liquid (Last Week: -)
It is crazy to think that Team Liquid got better and still are in third. That is just the way things go to start the season, especially with a new jungler, even if he is UmTi. This feels like a stronger version of the 2023 Team Liquid squad. Not only do Impact and UmTi provide better teamplay but APA and Yeon will only be getting better with more experience under their belt. Add in another year of CoreJJ and this team is a major threat as the season goes on. They will absolutely challenge the top two teams for their spots this Spring.
2. NRG (Last Week: -)
Similar to Team Liquid, NRG stayed together other than getting a new support. Many can and should argue that huhi is an upgrade in every sense of the word. We saw what he could do with Golden Guardians and now he is back with FBI after FBI had an incredible 2023. There is a chance that Dhokla, Contractz and Palafox regress a bit, but don’t bet on that. This team is hungry for another title and ready to fight for it.
1. Cloud9 (Last Week: -)
Putting any other team here would be disingenuous. The additions of the 2023 Summer MVP jojopyun and arguably the best support in the LCS, Vulcan, would prop up any team. Add onto that Fudge, Blaber and Berserker and this version of Cloud9 is a super team in the truest sense. The difference between them and most other super teams of the past is that most of these players have played together at one time or another. It will be imperative that Blaber and jojo establish good communication and an understanding of how each likes to play but once that is done, watch out the rest of the world. Seriously, not just the LCS, but all of LoL Esports.
