CoinGenius aims to get facts, figures and dates right. When we do not, we correct the article and say so. This page explains how to report an error, what we correct, and how corrections are marked.
How to report an error
Send the article address, the sentence or figure you believe is wrong, and a source for the correct version through our contact page. We read every report. If you are quoted or named in an article and think it is inaccurate, say so in the same way.
What we correct
- Factual errors: wrong names, dates, amounts, prices, percentages, jurisdictions or quotes.
- Missing or broken source links.
- Statements that the cited source does not support.
- Material omissions that change what a reader would reasonably conclude.
We do not change an article only because someone disagrees with its conclusion or would prefer it had not been published.
How corrections are marked
When we change a published article in a way that affects its meaning, we add an “Updated” line to the article that says what changed. Typographical fixes that do not alter the meaning are made without a note. If an article cannot be corrected, we remove it or mark it as withdrawn and say why.
