My Pet Hooligan, the web3 game of animation technology and gaming company AMGI Studios, is now available for free on the Epic Game Store. Along with the launch, the studio also signed a collaboration with Amazon Prime Gaming.
My Pet Hooligan on Epic Games Store
AMGI Studios announced recently the Early Access launch of its free-to-play game My Pet Hooligan, a AAA bunny shooter available exclusively through the Epic Games Store.
According to the studio, the game is a unique experience that blends Hollywood-like animation technology with a shooter featuring a roster of diverse playable rabbits.
In a statement, AMGI Studios emphasized that it is a gaming animation technology company led by entertainment industry veterans such as Colin Brady, a former Pixar animation lead, is the Chief Creative Officer and Chief Technology Officer. The company also shared that it is developing proprietary technology to bridge the gap between gaming and traditional entertainment.
“My Pet Hooligan merges Disney-style animation with proprietary technology in a Fortnite-style platform. Our lively community rallies behind freedom-fighting rabbits using quirky weapons battling MetaZuckBot’s oppression,” Brady stated, noting that in addition to battle games, players can customize their characters and chat in social arenas such as theaters and karaoke bars.
Luke Paglia, the Chief Operating Officer of AMGI Studios, emphasized the studio’s commitment to prioritizing storytelling and animation in order to craft exceptionally immersive gameplay experiences. He expressed the studio’s willingness to accommodate various playstyles and player interests.
In a prior interview of BitPinas with Sheraz Ashiq, Web3 Director at AMGI, he highlighted that to build trust within the community, AMGI Studios emphasized transparency and engagement. Ashiq shared that they conducted regular live streams and AMA sessions revealing the game’s progress, offering insight into the development process and fostering emotional connections with the audience.
AMGI and Prime Gaming Partnership
In addition to being available on the Epic Games Store, AMGI has signed a 12-month collaboration with Prime Gaming, which will provide Prime members with exclusive content drops on a monthly basis.
Prime Gaming subscribers who access My Pet Hooligan through the platform in the next 12 months will receive exclusive digital bundles of customized in-game content, including wearables, skins, badges, and special offers.
The first drop will be available for the next 30 days, including Max’s Zip-up Hoody, Jeans and Shoes, from the game’s cinematic trailer, as well as Thumps by Kré Black Headphones.
AMGI announced that new content drops will be made available monthly. Amazon Prime members can begin claiming MPH content via the Prime Gaming website, with monthly drops scheduled for the next 12 months.
“Having partners like Amazon Prime Gaming and Epic Games supporting us allows us to launch the game in a way that focuses solely on the gameplay and enriches the gamer experience,” Paglia stated.

My Pet Hooligan (MPH) is a video game built in Unreal Engine 5 that features both player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) gameplay. In the game, players control MPH characters who must defend themselves from their corporate overlord, Meta ZuckBot.
It offers players a high degree of creative freedom in shaping their gaming experience as the central experience of the game is found within the “Interloop,” which is an open-world environment known as “The Rabbit Hole.”
AMGI noted that My Pet Hooligan combines the 3D character animation style of Ratchet & Clank and Zootopia with the chaotic nature and action of games like Grand Theft Auto (GTA).
In My Pet Hooligan, players control unique 3D characters represented as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from a genesis NFT collection of 8888 Pet Hooligans. Each Hooligan possesses a diverse set of traits on the Ethereum blockchain and offers exclusive utility. Hooligans grant access to AMGI Studios’ animation tools and serve as personalized 3D avatars for both player-versus-player (PvP) gameplay and social interactions within the metaverse.
