A year after co-organizing the Philippine Web3 Festival with BlockchainSpace, blockchain gaming-focused guild Yield Guild Games (YGG) is gearing up to organize the YGG Web3 Games Summit, a web3 gaming event taking place from November 18 to 25, 2023, in multiple venues across Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. 

YGG Web3 Games Summit

The week-long event will include a two-day conference, a three-day expo, and a two-day tournament as the main events. Aside from the main events, dozens of pre-event activities and side events are also expected to happen, according to YGG, including a hackathon.

The summit kicks off with a conference on November 21 and 22 at the Grand Ballroom, Shangri-la at the Fort, located on 5th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City. Industry leaders, visionaries, and experts are said to gather to discuss the latest trends, innovations, and opportunities in the web3 gaming space through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive workshops.

The conference will be followed by the Expo and Tournament part, which will be held from November 23 to 25 at Samsung Hall in SM Aura, located at 26th Street, BGC.

The Expo Area is planned to be a showcase for new technologies, projects, and immersive gaming experiences. While the tournament is set to open opportunities for skilled players to compete against each other for glory and some prizes.

Access Pass

As per YGG, access to the summit’s activities comes in three tiers–all-access, VIP, and expo pass:

• All-Access Pass: Priced at ₱16,500.00, this pass provides entry to Summit’s main events. Pass holders will also receive an “All Access” badge and lanyard, a t-shirt, a Tote bag, a program, stickers, and a Quest card.
• VIP Pass: Priced at ₱44,000.00, holders of this pass will have access to the Summit’s main events, as well as VIP Dinners. They will also receive a VIP Badge and lanyard, have a dedicated VIP Liaison and Travel Concierge and receive exclusive merchandise including a Hoodie, Cap, T-shirt, Tote bag, Program, and stickers. 
• Expo Pass: Priced at ₱299, this pass grants access to the Expo and Tournament part only. Expo Pass holders will receive a wristband, stickers, and a Quest card.

YGG Events

Aside from co-organizing the Philippine Web3 Festival, a week-long event aimed to showcase Filipino talent and bring international web3 leaders to the country, the guild has been active in organizing other events that focus on enhancing the community’s relationships.

YGG Pilipinas recently organized the Web3 Community Summit on July 15, 2023, at Market! Market! in BGC, Taguig. The summit was free and served as a platform for sharing knowledge, tools, and strategies to foster thriving communities within the realm of Web3 games, projects, and corporations. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in practical workshops, a career fair, engaging talks, and meet community leaders, managers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). 

YGG Pilipinas also held the first leg of their Road Trip in Baguio City in June 2022. This one-day event comprised four segments: regional tournaments, an experience area, cryptocurrency literacy sessions, and influencer meet-and-greets for community engagement.
