by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York showed 64% of respondents had been offered a BNPL loan, and 29% of that group had used it as a payment method within the past year. BNPL is also growing in adoption with older consumers, not just Gen Z and millennials. According to

about 29% of Gen X leveraged BNPL in 2023, a number that is expected jump to over 40% by 2027. The share of Baby Boomer BNPL users is expected to grow from 13% to 17.9% in 2027.
