• LunarCrush announces the top five coins positioned by alt ranks.
• dYdX, Ocean Protocol, SafePal, Stack, and UniSwap make it to the list.
• Maximum trades occurred over Binance with a few on Coinbase.

Cryptocurrency social intelligence platform LunarCrush released their top five coins as per their alt ranks. Crypto Twitter influencer, Ben GCrypto explained that Alt Rank is a unique measurement system developed by LunarCrush that compares actual altcoin price performance to Bitcoin, alongside their social activity indicators.

According to the list, dYdX ranked number one recording a positive 13.9% 24 hours price change, $236 million USD worth of market capitalization, and $120 million USD trading volume, with maximum trades observed over the leading cryptocurrency exchange, Binance.

Meanwhile, Ocean Protocol ranked second in comparison to Bitcoin’s performance with a positive 11.5% 24 hours price change, market capitalization of  $76.5 million USD, $106 million USD trading volume, and major trades occurring over Binance.

SafePal came third as per the list, with a positive 3.9% 24 hours price change, $151 million USD worth of market capitalization, and $17.7 million USD trading volume happening on the number one crypto exchange.

Stacks and Uniswap came ranked fourth and fifth, with positive 5.2% and 2.3% 24 hours price change, market capitalization at  $420 million USD and  $4.4 billion USD, and trading volumes recording $65 million USD and $59.2 million USD, respectively, with maximum trading happening over Coinbase.

This is not the first time, LunarCrush released coin rankings based on alt ranks. According to the compiled list released on December 5, Axie Infinity (AXS), DFI.Money (YFII), and Litecoin (LTC) ranked in the top 3. Immediately followed by coins Cronos (CRO) and Internet Computer (ICP) ranking fourth and fifth.
