It is that time once again. The LCS season is upon us and with it come the games that will decide who will make it to the LCS Finals, MSI and Worlds. The regular season may not mean much to some, but during each crucial game, we will get to see story arcs created with excitement and disappointment. Along with the stories that will prepare us for the future of the LCS. Without further adieu, here are the LCS Picks for Week 1 of the 2024 Spring Split.

Pick Record from LCS 2024 Summer Week 1: 0-0
LCS Picks Week 1 Spring 2024 Day 1
TL vs. 100T
Most of TL stayed together and Impact can basically play with anyone. This 100T team is young and have a ton of potential. That being said, this is the first game of the first week of LCS action. Unless 100T come out with an insane draft, this one should go to TL.
Prediction: TL Win
NRG vs. C9
This is easily the game of the week as the two Summer 2023 Finalists square off with C9 looking for revenge. NRG brought in huhi who should be an upgrade while C9 brought back Vulcan and added the 2023 Summer Split MVP in jojopyun. This is truly a battle of the titans of the LCS. Only one can come out on top and the slight edge due to raw talent goes to C9.
Prediction: C9 Win
FLY vs. SR
There are many who are going to be surprised by this pick mainly because FLY have the better players. The problem is, this is week 1 and crazy things happen. Plus, SR have a core duo of Bugi and Insanity who showed out well last split. FLY will eventually be the better team but this is the first major upset pick of the week.
Prediction: SR Win
IMT vs. DIG
A battle of the potential bottom-feeders to end day 1. Both teams have potential in different ways and areas but like what was said above, this is week 1. Immortals have Armao, Tactical and Olleh who frankly are more talented and experienced than most of the DIG roster. As long as Castle and Mask follow what Armao and Olleh say to do around the map, this should be an IMT dub.
Prediction: IMT Win
LCS Picks Week 1 Spring 2024 Day 2
TL vs. SR
Ultimately, this will be a much more fun game than many fans would like to admit. Insanity versus APA is going to be a treat. Unfortunately for SR, Impact will impose his will in this one and help to lead TL to victory.
Prediction: TL Win
C9 vs. 100T
There is a real chance this game is a stomp by C9. But if they are still working out some early season bugs there is a chance 100T could pull off the upset. Regardless, C9 are the better team and not taking them until they prove otherwise is foolish.
Prediction: C9 Win
IMT vs. FLY
After getting game 1 behind them, Inspired and FLY will come out stronger and more confident on day 2. This IMT team will certainly pose a problem but in a meta that sees top lane getting even more attention early game, it is hard to pick Castle and Armao over Bwipo and Inspired.
Prediction: FLY Win
NRG vs. DIG
This should be another roll by a top team over a lower-tier squad. Sorry DIG fans but NRG won the LCS for a reason, they play as a true team better than probably anyone in the LCS. Their macro is strong and it will be more than enough to put DIG back in the dirt.
Prediction: NRG Win
