Unfortunately, Is Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is not crossplayable. This means that players who play on separate platforms such as Xbox and PlayStation players won’t be able to play with each other. Given how certain games being released these days have this feature included, this can be a bit disappointing to some. While there isn’t a crossplay feature, there is however one feature that did get added into the game.

There is a silver lining at the end as Is Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is in fact cross-gen. This means that players who aren’t on next-gen consoles are able to play with their respective next-gen consoles. Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players are able to play with each other and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players can play with each other too. While it would’ve been amazing to have crossplay functionality, cross-gen capabilities are still a plus regardless.
