With the launch of Hogwarts Legacy, WB Games treats gamers with the opportunity to free Twitch Hogwarts Legacy Drops. One of those is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Cloak.

Free Merlin Cloak
Players can obtain Merlin’s Cloak by only watching the official #HogwartsLegacy Launch Week Livestreams Tune hosted by the Avalanche Software Twitch channel. This can be achieved on either February 7 at 8 AM PT or February 10 at 8 AM PT. Players will have to do the following process to achieve the exclusive reward:
- Create or sign into a free Warner Bros. Games account.
- Connect a Twitch Account to your respective Warner Bros. Games account.
- Tune in and watch Hogwarts Legacy content live on Twitch. Make sure to check the Twitch Inventory page to see if watch time is being counted.
- Claim the drops periodically to progress through the reward tiers.
- Redeem the rewards.
- Once claimed log in to Hogwarts Legacy to receive the rewards.
**Users have been reporting problems receiving the Merlin Cloak via the Avalanche Software Twitch channel. 1 reported fix so far has been to restart the twitch application. Upon Doing so go to the inventory page and click on the Avalanche Software Twitch channel. Progress should resume shortly after.**
Other Rewards
A variety of other free rewards for watching Hogwarts Legacy will be given out to participants just for tuning in to participating live streams with drops enabled via Twitch. From watching the live streams, gamers can earn the Silver Dragon-eyed Spectacles, Urchin Hat, Carmine Lighting Bolt Scarf, and the Lilac Essemble. The duration of this opportunity is from February 7 to February 24.
Fan Club Rewards
Free rewards for linking a WB Games account and a Harry Potter Fan Club Account are being offered as well.
- Create a WB Games account and a Harry Potter Fan Club account. These are two separate websites to go to.
- Once both accounts are created, go to the Hogwarts Legacy account linking page. Gamers must log into their newly created Harry Potter Fan Club account.
- Click the “Get Sorted Now” button on the Hogwarts Legacy Connect page
- Gamers must complete the questionnaires to gain access to account linking fully.
- Complete the “Sorting Hat” Questionnaire.
- Complete the “Discover Your Wand” Questionnaire.
- Once completed click on the “Go to WB Games” button on the Legacy Connect page and log into your respective WB Games account.
- Link your desired platform that you’ll be playing Hogwarts Legacy.
- Launch Hogwarts Legacy and sign in to your WB Games account to receive the free rewards.
Players will receive the House Fanatic School Robes and the Beaked Skull Mask from there. If interested Hogwarts Legacy-inspired outfits and accessories can be unlocked as gamers achieve certain in-game milestones for their profiles in the Harry Potter Fan Club.
