According to a source online, the GTA 6 release date potentially leaked, pointing towards an October 2024 release date. The source was from a voice note, where the person talking is supposedly the Take 2 Interactive CEO. In the voice note, it states “an announcement is expected very soon this October 23rd […] The next GTA is expected to launch in October 24.”

As shown in the link below, the source has since been removed from Twitter. According to the Twitter user who uploaded the link, the video was removed due to copyright. This could definitely be a good sign to the validity of the GTA 6 release date leak. But the copyright function, according to some users, is rather easy to abuse.

Of course, as with all leaks online, take things with a grain of salt. It’s unclear whether this leak was legit or not. But honestly, a late 2024 release date makes a lot of sense. There stands a possibility the voice note was created by AI. Many believe the voice seems far too realistic to be AI, and that they believe it to actually be the Take 2 interactive CEO.
