Derrick Henry Not in Concussion Protocol

Date:

The Tennessee Titans’ superstar running back was feared to be concussion protocol after taking a big hit during Sunday’s game. Derrick Henry left the game against the Colts in the fourth quarter, and still could be questionable in Week 14 as he is evaluated.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport cleared up some confusion on Twitter on Monday.

If he were to miss time due to a head injury or otherwise, Henry will have missed at least one game in four of the last five seasons. Despite that, he’s also led the league in rushing attempts in three of the last four completed seasons. In two of those three, Henry has led the league in rushing yards and touchdowns, as well.

In Henry’s 12 games so far this season, Henry has 841 yards on 197 attempts, to go along with eight rushing touchdowns and 185 receiving yards. They play the (current) number one seed in the AFC, the Miami Dolphins, in Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.
