2024 NBA Mock Draft February 6

Date:

The NBA season is in full swing, but front offices are always preparing for the draft. Here is the 2024 NBA Mock Draft February 6.

Note: Draft order from tankathon.com

1. Detroit Pistons- Alexandre Sarr, F, France

Sarr is an athletic 7-footer who could play either the four or the five in the NBA. With a down recruiting class in high school basketball, Sarr has put himself in a good spot to be the number one pick.

2. Washington Wizards- Zaccharie Risacher, F, France

Risacher has nice size for a wing and can knock down the 3-point shot at a high-clip. The Wizards need talent on the roster from any position they can get it.

3. San Antonio Spurs- Nikola Topic, G, Serbia

The Spurs can get a bigger point guard in Topic who will be able to feed Victor Wembanyama the ball routinely.

4. Charlotte Hornets- Ron Holland, G/F, G-League Ignite

Holland is scoring a lot in the G-League, but isn’t playing efficiently. It may be hard to resist his athleticism and scoring ability.

5. Portland Trail Blazers- Rob Dillingham, G, Kentucky

Dillingham has shown his ability to create his own shot at Kentucky. He can play on or off the ball, which could make him appealing to plenty of different teams. Shot selection and defense will be areas to improve.

6. Toronto Raptors- Cody Williams, F, Colorado

Williams has some similarities to Scottie Barnes. He is a bigger player who can handle the ball. He’s been efficient and can give the Raptors multiple ball-handlers much-like the Thunder have now.

7. Memphis Grizzlies- Ja’Kobe Walter, G, Baylor

Continuing to find shooters to space the floor has to be the priority for the Grizzlies. Walter is shooting just 35 percent from deep, but has shown signs of a great shooting stroke.

8. Houston Rockets (via BRK)- Matas Buzelis, F, G-League Ignite

Buzelis has good height and skill to go with it. At this point, he looks more like a complementary player than a star, but still a valuable prospect.

9. Atlanta Hawks- Stephon Castle, G, UConn

Atlanta will have a new-look roster next season. Castle can finish through contact and should only improve after having a minor procedure that saw him miss five games earlier this season.

10. Portland Trail Blazers (via GS)- Tidjane Salaun, F, France

Salaun is an athletic big who can help pair with the young guards in Portland.

11. Chicago Bulls- Kyle Filipowski, F, Duke

Filipowski has nice post moves, but also stretches the floor with his shooting ability.

12. Oklahoma City Thunder (via HOU)- Yves Missi, F, Baylor

The Thunder can get a big man to protect the rim and finish near the basket in Missi, which will diversify their young core a bit.

13. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Utah)- Reed Sheppard, G, Kentucky

After getting a big, the Thunder can get another guard to develop. Sheppard can shoot and distribute the ball, but needs to work on his defense.

14. New Orleans Pelicans (via LAL)- Donovan Clingan, C, UConn

After being a role player for UConn last season, Clingan has developed into a star with good rebounding and shot blocking.

15. Miami Heat- Isaiah Collier, G, USC

Miami could get a dynamic point guard in Collier if he is developed. He has good ball-handling, but needs to improve his shooting to create a real impact in the NBA.

16. New York Knicks- Dalton Knecht, G, Tennessee

The Knicks are built on defense, but getting a player like Knecht who can score on all three levels could help them off the bench.

17. Orlando Magic- Ryan Dunn, F, Virginia

Dunn can defend well and do so at multiple positions, which can help him make a team’s rotation.

18. Toronto Raptors (via IND)- Kevin McCullar, G, Kansas

McCullar has really taken his game to another level for Kansas this season, scoring nearly 20 points a game.

19. New Orleans Pelicans- D.J. Wagner, G, Kentucky

Wagner will be one of the best in the class at getting to the basket. Kentucky has missed his presence recently, as he has been dealing with an ankle injury.

20. Phoenix Suns- Tyler Smith, F, G-League Ignite

Smith can provide an NBA team with a stretch-four who could develop with time.

21. Atlanta Hawks (via SAC)- Kel’El Ware, F, Indiana

While he is very athletic for his siz, Ware can stretch the floor a bit too.

22. Philadelphia 76ers- Justin Edwards, G, Kentucky

Edwards hasn’t lived up to expectations, but he is an athletic wing who could find his stride in the NBA.

23. New York Knicks- Bobi Klintman, F, Sweden

He entered the draft out of Wake Forest last year, but then opted to withdraw and play in Australia professionally. Klintman is playing well and can be a first round pick in a weak draft class.

24. Cleveland Cavaliers- Jared McCain, G, Duke

McCain can play on and off ball, which makes him appealing. He will need to continue to improve throughout the season to warrant being a first round pick.

25. Milwaukee Bucks- Zach Edey, C, Purdue

College basketball’s best player is a throwback big. Edey can play in the post and score around the rim, but will have trouble guarding more mobile players.

26. Denver Nuggets- Oso Ighodaro, F, Marquette

Ighodaro can score in the post and protect the rim a little bit as well.

27. Oklahoma City Thunder (via LAC)- Da’Ron Holmes, F, Dayton

Holmes moves well for a big man and has started shooting more consistently this season.

28. Minnesota Timberwolves- Trevon Brazile, F, Arkansas

Brazile has a nice offensive game that includes finishing at the basket and stretching the floor.

29. Toronto Raptors (via OKC)- Johnny Furphy, F, Kansas

Kansas recently put Furphy into the starting lineup and are seeing good results. He stretches the floor well and has decent athleticism.

30. Boston Celtics- Devin Carter, G, Providence

Carter is a good on-ball defender who has taken a step forward with his scoring this season.
