William Hill Partners with PandaScore to Boost Esports Offering

William Hill is one of the oldest betting firms in existence, having been founded way back in 1934. It is an operator that has stood the test of time, despite being passed from pillar to post over the last nine decades. However, in an announcement that proves old dogs can be taught new tricks, it has been revealed that William Hill has partnered with Parisian esports betting firm, PandaScore. This coupling will bring all-new esports betting markets to William Hill’s platforms, bolstering its offerings in the space.

While William Hill has operated a hybridised model for some time, the esports betting options available with the firm have been somewhat lacking. Following the acquisition of William Hill International by 888 Holdings in July of 2022, it seems that changes are being made internally. This breakthrough partnership will effectively strengthen William Hill’s esports betting product, utilising PandaScore’s cutting-edge technology to become a much more prominent player in the space.

PandaScore’s chief goal is to deliver advanced real-time data and odds feeds to the industry’s top operators. As a company, it offers markets for the likes of League of Legends, Dota 2, CSGO, Call of Duty, and many more competitive titles. With the William Hill partnership secured, PandaScore will begin delivering odds feeds for some of the biggest esports titles, including Dota 2 and League of Legends.

There are plans for William Hill to integrate further with PandaScore down the line, bringing in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive odds feeds. Then, as time goes on, should the partnership prove fruitful, the William Hill esports offering will be further bolstered by the many other titles that PandaScore covers. It has been said that PandaScore offers a one-stop esports betting solution to its customers, and in April of 2022, the firm published a comprehensive whitepaper that was designed to help new operators break into the esports scene.

In a statement, Dasha Kirilishina, a Senior Sales Manager at PandaScore, explained:

‘We are thrilled to be working with William Hill to help the operator expand and improve its esports betting offering through our cutting-edge odds feed. Esports betting is on the cusp of entering the mainstream, allowing operators to engage new audiences and also provide tremendous added value to those already active with their brand. William Hill has recognised the growth opportunity and, via our odds feed, will be able to offer a leading esports betting experience.’

There are expectations that this partnership will not only strengthen the markets available for William Hill’s existing customers, but it’ll also bring in fresh bettors to the platform. This integration will be facilitated by Sporting Solutions, another firm that has recently partnered with PandaScore. Within no time at all, William Hill’s platforms will be taking advantage of the growth of esports betting.
