During the Xbox and Bethesda Direct, the folks over at Arkane Studios showed not only gameplay footage of Redfall but also announced the official Redfall release date. Redfall is set to launch on May 2, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S, and PC and is free for Xbox Gamepass Subscribers.

The Details
For those who don’t know Redfall is an open-world, single-player, and co-op FPS. The town has been taken over by an evil legion of vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut the citizens off from the outside world. It’s up to the survivors to fight the undead horde back. Redfall’s original release was supposed to be back in 2022 however, it was delayed for another year.
As shown from the Xbox and Bethesda showcasing teammates can try and modify different loadouts to their liking while utilizing their character’s special abilities. This is intended to give gamers an opportunity to spice up or maybe even n mellow out their playstyles. There also is an assortment of special menacing-looking vampires shown that will be seen along the way.
