Valorant player impressed community with fan made Star Wars skins

Date:

A Valorant player created their own Star Wars skin for Valorant, celebrating the massive television franchise within Riot Game’s first person shooter. Though the skin isn’t purchasable in game, and therefore not official, the creation impressed the Valorant community.

“Which side of the force are you?” Vegod, the creator of the skin, asked Twitter. In their teaser, they showcase Darth Vader in a cinematic looking clean as heck. Then it teases black guns with a red highlights, commemorating the sith, and a white gun with blue highlights, commemorating the Jedi Order.

He then teases his custom skins for the blades, which are entire lightsabers. And not only do they look great in the game’s engine, the spinning and twirling makes the Valorant custom skin are incredibly impressive.

But unfortunately, according to Vegod, the skin will never be available. In essence, Vegod doesn’t seem to have any intentions of releasing the custom skin to the public. For those unaware, custom skins are viewable only by the user, and those who essentially modded the game’s data the same exact way.

The community was massively impressed by the creator’s feat, with many even assuming it was an official release teaser.

“Got so excited about this concept… Then [I] realized it was Vegod and not Valoleaks,” one Twitter user commented, referencing a reputable Valorant leaker.

“I THOUGHT IT WAS REAL,” another exclaimed, clearly disappointed by the fact the skin will never be purchasable.
