Dallas Cowboys’ cornerback Trevon Diggs is out for the season with a torn ACL according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. He suffered the injury in Thursday’s practice.
Diggs, 25, is in his fourth year for the Cowboys after being a second-round pick in 2020. He has 52 passes defended and 18 interceptions in his career thus far.
The Cowboys acquired Stephon Gilmore this offseason to play the other side of the field from Diggs. Now, DaRon Bland is expected to step into the lineup in place of Diggs.
