Looking back at the vast amount of praise Elden Ring has received, it’s no surprise that video game developers would want to take a crack at the Soulslike genre. Koei Tecmo with the help from Team Ninja is returning to the genre with Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. Will the title stand up to Elden Ring? The Story
Wo Long places players during the Three Kingdoms period of China. This is when China was separated into the Wei, Wu, and Shu. Players will follow a lone militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Three Kingdoms. With this being a Soulslike game there of course will be swordplay and magic accompanied by bosses of all kinds. There even have been mentions of being able to summon divine and mythical beasts. With that being said, it can be expected that there will be a variety of combat tactics and options within the title.
