Richard Crowe, former MD of Creative Staging, passes away

Date:

Richard Crowe, who was managing director of Creative Staging for 23 years, has passed away after a short illness.

An announcement has been posted on social media by the company which he led with great success as it specialised in the delivery of shows and projects in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

In the company tribute, Crowe is described as calm, thoughtful and patient, giving great advice, and making time for everybody. He had a passion for classic cars and jeeps, moving to Wales in retirement to have more space for his collection.

Crowe’s colleague Ashwin Shah said he was “an inspiration and role model to younger employees”.

Former AV Magazine editor-in-chief Peter Lloyd added: “He was also a good, energetic and very sociable friend to many in the industry (including me) and great fun to be with at both international and more local events.”

A funeral will be held on Thursday 30 June.

Richard Crowe’s life is also commemorated in a company announcement here.
