The all-female CS:GO qualifiers at India’s National Esports Championships saw Top-G emerge victorious, securing a thrilling 2-1 win over Purr-ple in the finals. This landmark victory marks the first time an Indian female CS:GO team has qualified for the World Esports Championships (WEC) finals!

Winning the finals was an unreal feeling for all of us. We felt so many emotions before, after, and most importantly during the match and the adrenaline rush was on another level. Triumphing in this tournament and representing India on an international stage is a dream come true for all of us and we aim to prove on the world stage why we deserve this spot. Boasting a roster of elite CS:GO athletes, including captain Swayambika Sachar and stars like Shagufta Iqbal and Dilraj Kaur Matharu, Top-G demonstrated their skills in a closely-fought final against Purr-ple. Qualifying for the world championship is no easy feat, and Top-G had to compete against some of the best teams in the region to earn their spot. After dominating the first map, Top-G found themselves behind in the second but came back fighting to take the third map in overtime, winning 19-15.
