The event, which will take place on September 18 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom at Newport World Resorts Manila, aims to “redefine how audiences perceive digital fashion.”

During the Gala, attendees are expected to observe Cinco’s iconic pieces, paralleled by avatars of runway models walking in identical attire within the Metaverse. An exhibit of the designer’s gowns will be displayed throughout the venue. This is said to allow fashion-forward fans to get an up-close and personal look at Cinco’s designs.
In addition to the show and exhibit, fashion enthusiasts can also acquire preferred items through an exclusive pre-sale, including unique digital collectibles alongside the actual gowns.
“Part of the proceeds from the Michael Cinco Metaverse Fashion Gala will benefit the World Wildlife Fund for the conservation of endangered species, and the Global Reskilling Movement, an international initiative devoted to providing better opportunities for the youth,” the media release read.
As the first known metaverse fashion gala that will be held in the country, for PBW Convenor Chezka Gonzales, the collaboration with Michael Cinco exemplifies how blockchain technology is revolutionizing every facet of global life, work, and recreation:
