As the saying goes, the world could always use a few more Heroes. In this case, three more should suffice for now. Overwatch 2’s roster of Heroes has been growing at a rapid rate. Since the title’s initial launch, the game has seen a wide variety of heroes coming from different backgrounds and personalities. This time around we’ve seen three more get announced. With the main one being the Tank Hero Magua, two new Heroes dubbed Venture and Space-Ranger have also been noted to come sometime in 2024. One piece of info that has been given is that Venture will become the first non-binary Hero.

Venture Is Overwatch 2’s First Non-Binary Hero
Based on the info given by an Overwatch Character Tech Artist at Blizzcon 2023, it’s been confirmed that Venture is a non-binary Hero. The character themselves goes by They/Them pronouns and will be addressed as such in-game. For those who don’t know, non-binary people don’t conform to being male or female and are somewhere in between or don’t consider themselves on that spectrum at all. With Venture being non-binary, this adds more diversity to the Overwatch 2 cast.
What Is The New Overwatch 2 Clash Game Mode?
Not a lot of information was given on the new Overwatch 2 game mode Clash. For the most part, the game mode itself appears to be a tug-of-war type of game mode that pits players against each other in terms of gaining territory. It will feature five Capture Points as players will compete across the map to either capture all five points or reach the max score. Other than that there isn’t much known about it.
As Blizzcon continues, it’s likely that more information on Clash will be released in the future. With everything that was revealed during the presentation, more of what’s to come for Overwatch 2 in 2024 will be discussed at 1:30pm PT during the What’s Next Panel at Blizzcon. Overwatch 2 Mauga Release Date
The Overwatch 2 Mauga Release Date will be with Overwatch 2 Season 8 on December 5, 2023. However, this weekend only players will be able to play as Mauga not only at Blizzcon but for Overwatch 2 players everywhere. He can be assessed during Quick Play matches only, not competitive. Until the official release, players can get a feel for how Mauga works as a Tank hero. Players can play Mauga until November 5.
