MuliVesus Season 1 is getting pushed backed to a later date. The delay of the first official season of the title also means the MultiVersus Morty release is delayed as well.
The official MultiVersus Twitter account first thanked players for overall enjoying the title during the launch of the title’s Open Beta session. Shortly following after, came the announcement that MultiVersus Season 1 would be getting delayed. Along with the delay of season 1 would also be the delay of the inclusion of Morty Smith from Rick And Morty. No information was given on how this new change could affect the release date of Rick from Rick And Morty.
We want to let everyone know that we are delaying the start of Season 1 & the release of Morty to a later date. We know this might be disappointing for some and want to assure our Community that we are dedicated to delivering new and exciting content that delights players. (2/3)

Season 1 Battle Pass Delay
With the delay of Season 1, the Pre-Season Battle Pass will also be extended. The Pre-Season Battle Pass will now be available until August 15th. The end date noted in-game will not change, but the Battle Pass will continue after August 8th through the 15th.
MultiVersus will be having an all-new Battle Pass in season 1. This new pass will include at least 50 tiers. This pass will be available for a longer period and will be giving players a better opportunity to redeem all of their spoils. Items earned in the Battle Pass will not be exclusive. Players will be able to unlock these items again at a later date. The pass is rumored to cost 950 Gleamium.
Limited Founder Packs
Any players interested in buying the Founder’s Packs should do so now. Sometime in season 1, all of the Founder Packs will be leaving the store.
MultiVersus currently has 3 different editions of the Founders Pack for players to purchase. Each one comes with its own unique features and cosmetics. The Base Pack costs $39.99. The Deluxe Pack costs $59.99. The Premium Pack costs $99.99.
