Famous U.S.-based pizza chain has reportedly started accepting cryptocurrency payments in all of its stores in Venezuela for foods and drinks.

The move reportedly follows a partnership with crypto firm Mega Soft, which moves to drive adoption in the country and facilitate cryptocurrency payments at more than 20,000 businesses. In an interview with local news outlet ElAxioma, Richard ElKhouri, General Director for Venezuelan Operations at the pizza chain, said:

“Pizza Hut nowadays cannot be detached from these technological advances and all those incorporating new approaches for daily necessities. It is important that we accommodate young people, modern adults, and people technologically knowledgeable.”

PizzaHut customers can now, with the use of CryptoBuyer, use crypto to buy food and drink at Pizza Hut in Venezuela. While not all cryptos are accepted, top currencies like BTC, LTC, DASH, BNB, BUSDT, USDT, DAI, and ETH are accepted.
