The LCS is back for the Summer with some teams making a lot of changes and others sticking with their five from the Spring. Each of these teams will be duking it out to not only win an LCS Championship but also to get the chance to go to Worlds. With that people may be wondering who to pick on their way to Worlds. Here are the LCS Picks for Week 2 of the 2022 Summer Split.

LCS Week 2 Summer 2022 Day 1
DIG vs. C9
The battle of the 0-3 teams will start off Week 2. Dignitas looked awful in Week 1 with Cloud9 not too far behind. Cloud9’s schedule is much tougher and they will likely be getting at least Berserker back and maybe Zven too.
Prediction: Cloud9 Win
100T vs. GGS
Golden Guardians always seem to win games they shouldn’t. Unfortunately for them, one of their major advantages should be in the mid lane but Ablazeolive struggled worse than Abbedagge in Week 1. The rest of 100 Thieves have looked solid, especially Closer and FBI.
Prediction: 100 Thieves Win
TSM vs. TL
Team Liquid looked incredible in Week 1 but they also had the easiest schedule in the LCS with their opponents going a combined 1-7. TSM nearly took down both 100 Thieves and CLG with strong early games but threw after about 20 minutes. This game will be closer than many would think but Team Liquid have one of the best late games in the LCS.
Prediction: Team Liquid Win
EG vs. IMT
Immortals will look better with another week of practice under their belt. But, it won’t matter. Evil Geniuses look to be picking up right where they left off.
Prediction: Evil Geniuses
FLY vs. CLG
This is another game that might be closer than it looks. CLG earned respect with their 3-0 start. Their read on the meta has been great and their changes clearly have been upgrades. That said, once Seraphine and Senna were banned, they came back to Earth a little bit. FlyQuest have worse issues though and will need Josedeodo to be better if they want a chance in this one.
Prediction: CLG Win
LCS Week 2 Summer 2022 Day 2
GGS vs. TSM
This feels like a trap game for TSM. They are certainly the better team at this point and have more talent on the roster. That said, Golden Guardians could find their groove with Licorice and Ablazeolive regaining their laning prowess. It is hard to pick against TSM here but this team also surprised everyone and started 1-9 last Split. TSM fans will certainly be hoping their pick up their second or possibly even third win of the Summer here.
Prediction: TSM Win
TL vs. FLY
FlyQuest can definitely make Team Liquid work for it. Toucouille specifically might make things difficult for Bjergsen. At the end of the day though, TL rarely throw best-of-ones to teams they are clearly better than.
Prediction: Team Liquid Win
C9 vs. 100T
While it has not been announced yet Cloud9 fans will be hoping that Berserker will be back and in decent form. If that is the case then they certainly have a chance. Jensen will also need to show up for C9 to stay in this game. In the end though, 100 Thieves have something that Cloud9 seem to be missing. Synergy. Because of this and the knowledge of how they want to win, 100 Thieves hold the advantage in round one of the Summer Split.
Prediction: 100 Thieves Win
CLG vs. EG
CLG have been a very fun story up to this point. Now they will have the opportunity to show that they really belong by facing off against Evil Geniuses. Unfortunately for them, the buck stops here. EG haven’t missed a beat and should be more than capable of ending CLG’s longest winning streak in many years.
Prediction: Evil Geniuses Win
IMT vs. DIG
Another battle of the “mehs” to start off the Summer Split. If Dignitas are going to try and turn things around it needs to happen here. Otherwise, Immortals will likely get a sloppy but confidence-boosting dub here.
Prediction: Immortals Win
