Pickup Coffee App Launch
As promised by Mintoo, all attendees of the Pickup Coffee app launch event received a complimentary NFT from Mintoo.
Pickup Coffee is a local coffee startup bar that offers espresso and milk-based beverages. Its app, which allows users to pre-order and pick up coffee without having to wait in line, as well as find the nearest branch in Metro Manila and Cebu City, is now available for download via Google Play and the Apple App Store. This coffee shop also accepts digital payment through GCash or Maya.
In addition to the digital tokens, attendees also had the opportunity to win up to ₱10,000 worth of Pickup Points, which can be redeemed for coffee through the Pickup Coffee App.
“This partnership marks a moment of significance for both Mintoo and Pickup Coffee as they collectively redefine convenience, rewards, and digital experiences for their users across the nation,” a media release reads.
It also noted that the launch is just a start for the Mintoo and Pickup coffee collaboration that “seeks to transform the way Filipinos engage with their favorite cup of joe.”
Mintoo NFTs
In addition to Pickup Coffee, Mintoo has also participated in other events by providing NFTs as tickets or event passes.
Mintoo is a Filipino NFT platform built on the Polygon network. It is integrated within the PDAX app, which allows users to purchase digital collectibles and NFTs directly with Philippine Peso.
In May, Mintoo issued NFT tickets for “Ang Huling El Bimbo: The Musical.” Each NFT ticket grants entry for two individuals and can function as both a collectible digital item and a ticket to the event.
The NFT marketplace also launched digital tokens for local artists in the exclusive collections “Artist Series: New Horizons” and “Walang Katulad”.
Recently, the Tambay OG NFT collection, which celebrates Filipino culture and humor, has been entirely sold out on the marketplace.
Filipino musician and Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia, in collaboration with New York-based artist Farrah Carbonell, also launched the “Flaming Lullaby” NFT collection exclusively on Mintoo; it was also available on Fine Arts NFT platform Artifract.io.
