With its release right around the corner, Xbox gamers are wondering if the new Soulslike game Wo Long Final Dynasty is on Xbox Game Pass.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty launches for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, on March 3, 2023. The good news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers is that the title will be free at no additional charge. While the title will sadly not feature any involvement of crossplay, there will be cross-generation play between the same family of consoles. This means that Xbox X/S players can play with original Xbox One users.
The Procedure
Just like every Soulslike game before it, the multiplayer process won’t be so simple. Players will need to make sure they have exactly 2 tiger seals on them. Without the tiger seals allies can’t be summoned. Once obtained players must do the following:
- Head over to a Battle Flag and rest beneath it.
- Select the Recruitment option
- Click Recruit
- Choose how many allies are needed
- Click Send Recruitment
To invite specific friends the process is quite similar. Rest beneath the battle flag and select Online Lobby. Click the Co-op button and share the lobby code with a friend.

The Story
Wo Long places players during the Three Kingdoms period of China. This is when China was separated into the Wei, Wu, and Shu. Players will follow a lone militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Three Kingdoms. With this being a Soulslike game there of course will be swordplay and magic accompanied by bosses of all kinds. There even have been mentions of being able to summon divine and mythical beasts. With that being said, it can be expected that there will be a variety of combat tactics and options within the title.
