In April 2024, the Inside Quantum Technology conference in The Hague will feature a keynote presentation by Florent Grosmaitre, CEO of CryptoNext Security, who brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience in the software industry. Grosmaitre’s leadership at CryptoNext Security, a company at the forefront of post-quantum cryptography, positions him as a key voice in the ongoing discussion about quantum technology’s impact on cybersecurity.

Florent Grosmaitre’s journey in the tech world is marked by over 15 years of international entrepreneurial experience. His educational background includes an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale d’Arts et Métiers and a business degree from HEC Entrepreneur Paris, undoubtedly contributing to his success in leading technology ventures.

CryptoNext Security, where Grosmaitre has been CEO since 2021, is a startup founded in 2019 as a spin-off of INRIA, CNRS, and Sorbonne University. The company was born out of two decades of research in post-quantum cryptography. This field has become increasingly critical as advancements in quantum computing pose new challenges to traditional encryption methods.

The mission of CryptoNext Security is to provide Quantum Safe Remediation Software solutions, assisting organizations in transitioning their IT/OT infrastructures to quantum-safe environments. This is a crucial service, as the emergence of quantum computing threatens to render current cryptographic methods obsolete, leaving sensitive data vulnerable.

Grosmaitre will shed light on the challenges and solutions in migrating to quantum-safe cryptographic systems at the conference. His presentation will likely cover the state-of-the-art post-quantum cryptography, the importance of proactive measures in cybersecurity, and how organizations can prepare for the quantum era.

Given the urgency of securing digital infrastructures against future quantum threats, Grosmaitre’s insights will be particularly valuable. His talk is anticipated to provide a blend of technical depth and strategic guidance, reflecting his unique position at the intersection of technology development and entrepreneurial leadership.

As the quantum technology landscape continues to evolve rapidly, Grosmaitre’s presence at the conference underscores the importance of integrating quantum-safe practices into existing and future digital systems. His expertise and experience in leading a company dedicated to pioneering solutions in this field make him a significant contributor to the conversation about preparing for a quantum future in cybersecurity.

IQT The Hague 2024 is the Netherlands’ fifth global conference and exhibition. The Hague is a Quantum Technology Event focusing on Quantum Networking and Quantum Security. Ten vertical topics encompassing more than 40-panel talks from over 100 speakers will provide attendees with a deep understanding of state-of-the-art developments of the future quantum internet and the current impact of quantum-safe technologies on cybersecurity and quantum computers.

The conference brings together corporate management, entrepreneurs, end users, technology providers, infrastructure partners, researchers, and investors working on current developments. IQT The Hague is organized by 3DR Holdings, IQT Research, QuTech, QIA (Quantum Internet Alliance), and Quantum Delta, who will bring leading organizations and professionals together in this important event. The April conference is “in-person” to ensure maximum networking and discussion at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre in The Hague.
