Fully in the summer as we enter the month of June and we see an increase in new executive roles being allocated this week in the forex, crypto and fintech industries. Let’s review the executives that have taken on new roles and challenges in our executive moves roundup of the week.

Ex-Capital.com Affiliate Head Joins PrimeXBT

Evgenios Limniotes, who previously worked at Capital.com, has joined PrimeXBT as the Head of Affiliate Marketing. Before taking up the new role, he was the Head Of Business Development at Capital.com, where he started as the Head of Affiliates.

Limniotes held the Head Of Business Development role at Currency.com, a sister company of Capital.com. Earlier, he worked at HotForex, Fidelis Capital Markets, and Goldenburg Group Limited.

Abouzaid Departs ATFX

Ramy
Abouzaid, the Head of Market Research at ATFX MENA, has announced his exit from the
company after a fruitful stint over five years. Abouzaid’s past associations
include AxiTrader and One Financial Markets as the Chief Market Analyst. Abouzaid
has yet to disclose his future professional plans.

“Time
to turn the page! After five incredible years at ATFX, I’m saying my goodbyes
today. It’s been an amazing journey filled with growth, challenges, and lifelong
friendships,” Abouzaid commented.

N26 Welcomes Compliance
Expert to Board

N26
introduces regulatory compliance and governance
expert Déborah Carlson-Burkart to its Group Supervisory Board. With years of
experience in finance, banking, and insurance, Carlson-Burkart will collaborate
closely with the board members and N26’s management team.

She brings
a wealth of legal, corporate governance, and compliance knowledge to her new
role. Currently, she is serving on the boards of RUAG International and VISANA Group. Additionally, she conducts guest lectures at the University of St. Gallen for its EMBA
program.

Her
previous roles include leadership positions at Rothschild Trust Group, Alstom
Switzerland, and MicroStrategy.

BidX Markets Onboards New Liquidity Manager

BidX Markets, a liquidity and technology provider, announced today (Wednesday) the appointment of Elizabeth Leskauskaite as the company’s new Liquidity Manager.

In the role, Leskauskaite will oversee and optimize liquidity management strategies, ensuing executions, market access, and trading conditions for BidX’s clients. Her focus will be on maximizing profitability and minimizing risk.

Previously, Leskauskaite was a Senior Analyst at Britannia Global Markets and spent four years at the liquidity division of Finalto.

“With her proven track record in liquidity management and a deep understanding of the Forex, CFD and crypto markets, we are confident that Elizabeth will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and deliver exceptional results for our international and quickly expanding client base,” said Simon Blackledge, CEO of BidX Markets.

TS Imagine APAC Welcomes
New Personnel

TS Imagine
has bolstered its team in the Asia Pacific with two fresh appointments from
Enfusion, an investment management fintech company.

An Hoong joins the account management team and has been given the responsibility of technical account management and
client support. He is based out of Hong Kong, while Stephanie Cheung has been named
the sales director.

Having been in APAC for over two decades, TS Imagine now hosts a team of over
60 members spread across key cities: Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney.

Trive Names New Chief Risk Officer

Amsterdam-based Trive has promoted Ali Cagdas Tuna, its Senior Trader & Risk Manager, as the new Chief Risk Officer. He is based in Malta and has already taken over the new role.

Tuna joined Trive from Global Kapital Group, where he held the role of Senior Trader & Research. He started his career in the trading industry in 2010 as a Dealer at Tera Brokers. On top of that, he worked with brands like Tera FX, GCM Forex, Tera Europe, and GKFX Prime.

Trive is a relatively new financial services company that offers stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Moreover, it provides leveraged counterparty trading with instruments of forex, indices, commodities, and equities. Presently, it is onboarding European clients under its license from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).

Earlier this year, the company onboarded Dennis Austinat as the new Managing Director for the DACH Region.

LiquidityBook Brings
Onboard Former Twitter Staff

Cloud-native
trading solutions provider, LiquidityBook, revealed the recruitment of
ex-Twitter employee, Cavin Woo, as Principal Software Engineer. Mr Woo will
directly report to Shawn Samuel, the Chief Technology Officer, and lead the
development of the company’s extensive trade management software offerings.

In this
capacity, Mr Woo’s efforts will be concentrated on enhancing LiquidityBook’s
execution management system, leveraging his experience in creating scalable,
user-centric software crucial for expanding the company’s diverse clientele.

Binance Names Richard Teng as
Head of Regional Markets

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has appointed Richard Teng, its former
Regional Head of Asia, Europe, and MENA, to serve as the Head of Regional
Markets, overseeing operations outside the US. The appointment was revealed
through Teng’s Linkedin profile.

Teng, who is set to
begin his role on Monday, according to a report by Reuters, joined the crypto
exchange as the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore in August 2021. He is an
experienced financial expert, having held several roles in companies, such as
Singapore Exchange Limited, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the Abu
Dhabi Global Market.

Teng’s appointment comes
when Binance, ranked the top crypto exchange by trading volume, is battling
regulatory pressure on a global scale. Most recently, the exchange was forced to end its
operations in Canada citing stringent policies related to digital assets.

Scope Markets Names New Global Sales Director

Rostro-owned Scope Markets has strengthened its team with David Andres Restrepo as the Global Sales Director. He is based in London.

Restrepo joined Scope Markets from Eurotrader, where he was the Head of Global Sales for the last three years. Before that, he had a short five months stint at ActivTrades as the Head Of Business Development LATAM.

He entered the trading industry with his role at the now-shuttered OvalX (then ETX Capital). He joined the broker as the Financial Sales Executive in May 2014 and parted as the Head Of Business Development Manager IB/Affiliates at the end of 2019.

CFI Financial Onboards AI-Marketing Expert as Global Head

CFI Financial Group has strengthened its leadership team by onboarding Elena Kupriyanova as the new Global Head of Marketing. She will focus on strengthening the Fx/CFDs broker’s marketing efforts and promoting its global franchisees.

In her marketing career, she has focused on the integration of Artificial intelligence and data.

Kupriyanova had an impressive career so far, working for several other brokers in marketing-related roles. Previously, she worked for Exness and the Capital.com group, consisting of Capital.com and Currency.com. Most recently, she was a Chief Marketing Officer at a startup.
