Xilinx’s Deep Neural Network Development Kit (DNNDK) was recently made available as a free download from Xilinx.com The download provides the tools and examples to enable developers to start using Xilinx AI technology.

In addition to the popular CNN models like Resnet50, Googlenet, SSD, Densebox etc, popular models such as mobilenetv2, Yolo v3 are also supported. From the hardware side, in addition to Xilinx boards, the popular Avnet’s Ultra96 are supported to run all these models.

DNNDK basic edition is free – absolutely no charge to use the tool or IP. You need to have a Xilinx.com account to download. Once downloaded you can install and become familiar with it by following the instructions in the user guide. You can run the example designs or try your own models that have been pretrained using the Caffe framework.
