“Forum 2022 is a must-attend event for people and brands in our industry. Our content is edgy, one-of-a-kind, and thought provoking—sure to help attendees with new skills and ideas for pushing the envelope, protecting consumers, and advocating for the industry,” said RGCA Forum Chair Marina Hodges.

Registration is now open for the 2022 Retail Gift Card Association (RGCA) Forum, which will be held near Washington, D.C. this October 3 to 5. The event provides closed-loop gift card industry professionals with bountiful opportunities to learn the latest on issues and trends impacting the industry, network, and hear from top experts on emerging best practices and innovations. The 2022 RGCA Forum will spotlight numerous topics critical to the industry, and will feature two groundbreaking marquee sessions.

First, leading cybersecurity expert Theresa Payton will open Forum’s keynote address with powerful insights into how the industry can identify cyberthreats and unmask cybercriminals. Payton made history as the first female to serve as White House CIO and is currently the CEO of Fortalice Solutions.

Forum will also feature a first-ever media-moderated fraud panel with representatives from an array of prominent, well-respected organizations, including AARP, the National Consumers League, and the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI). U.S. News & World Report credit card expert, columnist, and consumer finance analyst Beverly Harzog will moderate the thinktank session, inviting participants to openly discuss how fraud is impacting the industry, tactics criminals are using to prey on consumers, and how the industry can collaboratively protect shoppers and prosecute fraud.

“We’ve pulled out all the stops, and Forum 2022 is a must-attend event for people and brands in our industry. This year’s content is edgy, one-of-a-kind, and thought provoking—and sure to help attendees return home with new skills and ideas for pushing the envelope, protecting consumers, and advocating for the industry,” said RGCA Forum Chair Marina Hodges. “Our industry evolves every day as Americans expand the ways and frequency with which they use closed-loop gift cards. Forum will bring together the industry’s brightest minds to help us all navigate new frontiers, optimize the latest technologies, and positively propel our industry forward.”

Gift card industry professionals with an interest in the closed-loop ecosystem are encouraged to attend RGCA Forum. Hundreds are expected to attend the in-person event taking place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center located at 201 Waterfront Street in National Harbor, MD.
