This game is a classic RPG in the sense that you get companions, level-up abilities and get items while completing different quests to ultimately save Peach and find the riches from a treasure map that Peach sent to Mario.
The remake will have all of the same elements but is getting a makeover. The graphics will be better along with the animations from the original game. Truthfully, it will feel very much like the same game but a little nicer to look at and available on the Nintendo Switch.
