Today we’re excited to announce that we’re becoming an official esports partner for PUBG MOBILE — the battle royale shooter played by over 1 billion players worldwide.
Our partnership with PUBG MOBILE aims at making participating in esports competitions as seamless as possible for players by fully integrating the game with the platform and our newly released mobile app.
Using our own esports tech, we’ve developed a custom solution for integrating with the PUBG MOBILE API to make the game ready and available for competitors and other key stakeholders in the esports ecosystem.
“The PUBG MOBILE Esports API integration in Challengermode creates a truly seamless experience for competitive gamers of any skill level.
…creating and joining PUBG MOBILE tournaments on Challengermode will be so much easier with the integration and will open up avenues for players to participate in a wider selection of competitions and tournaments for prize pools with ease.”
James Yang, Director of PUBG MOBILE Esports team.
We’re also keeping organizers in mind by creating a new PUBG MOBILE Esports fund to help PUBG MOBILE organizers worldwide increase the scope and scale of their community tournaments, and grow their grassroots esports participation.
“We’re excited to become a PUBG MOBILE esports partner as it enables us to extend our esports program and organizer funding opportunities to a global audience of players and organizers. As a partner, we offer a true value-add for the global esports ecosystem, and with activations already starting in Europe, Latin America and Brazil, we estimate that thousands of new PUBG MOBILE tournaments will be played over the next couple of months.”
– Phil Hubner, CBDO of Challengermode
The fund will be distributed on a first come first served basis to tournament organizers globally from today until the fund is exhausted.
