Generative Data Intelligence

CCC is scheduled for release in 2023

A fresh, intriguing blend of point-and-click adventures and turn-based RPG components may be found in Sunday Gold. The game, which was created by BKOM Studios, is set in a dystopian version of London and tells the connected tales of three criminals “who stumble upon a terrible conspiracy that’s about to change the world for the worse”.

In an unassuming tavern, Frank, Gavin, and Sally come up with a scheme that they hope would bring them the money some of them so urgently need to pay off their debts. They had no idea that the adventure they are about to undertake would take them straight into the wolf’s den—or, perhaps more accurately, directly into the wolf’s mouth.

Each character in the game has a niche skill. Gavin is skilled with computers, whereas Frank can unlock locks. Sally, on the other hand, is incredibly strong, so you should use her for anything that calls for force.

Additionally to the turn-based RPG and point-and-click adventure gameplay, creator BKOM included a stress element that, if not handled properly, might have negative effects. In essence, your characters start to lose some of their composure whenever they encounter unpleasant circumstances. They might not behave as they should in fight after they cross a particular threshold. A character’s time to engage in battle is also limited while they are under stress, when typically you have an infinite amount of time to act throughout your turn.

Sunday Gold is a successful mashup of the point-and-click adventure and turn-based role-playing game genres. It generates some interesting concepts that may be developed in a later release.
