Major League Baseball is about to start and teams have prepared their pitching rotations. Here is the Boston Red Sox 2024 projected pitching rotation.
1. Brayan Bello RHP
Bello has pitched decently in his first two seasons, but is now thrust into the number one spot in the rotation. In his career, he has a 14-19 record and a 4.37 ERA.
2. Nick Pivetta RHP
The 31-year-old righty went 10-9 with a 4.04 ERA in 2023. It was the best season of his career from an ERA perspective and he’ll be looking to continue that momentum.
3. Kutter Crawford RHP
From year one to year two of his MLB career, Crawford immensely. He had a 4.04 ERA and a 6-8 record in 2023.
4. Garrett Whitlock RHP
Whitlock has regressed each season in the pros and last year posted a 5.15 ERA. He has spent time in the rotation and in the bullpen.
5. Tanner Houck RHP
In 2023, Houck posted a 5.01 ERA, but he had more success earlier in his career. Houck will be looking to up his inning count as the most he has ever pitched in a season is 106.
Notes: Lucas Giolito (RHP) is out indefinitely with a right elbow injury.
