Bamse’s Adventure: The Wand Mystery Is a New Educational Platformer Based on the Popular Swedish Cartoon

After charming little players across Sweden, Bamse’s Adventure: The Wand Mystery has now gone global with its English-language release. It’s published by Gro Play, the studio that has dropped other puzzle games like the Alfie Atkins series and The JerryMaya Detective Agency.

The educational puzzle platformer brings the beloved Swedish bear Bamse to new audiences. Combining light-hearted adventure with lessons in problem-solving, literacy, and maths, it’s primarily for kids aged 6–10.

Bamse’s Adventure: The Wand Mystery makes learning fun

The story begins in Bamse’s quiet village, where chaos erupts as magicians’ wands suddenly spring to life and start misbehaving. Everyday objects disappear and villagers start panicking. No one can tell if the culprits are familiar faces like Reynard or Croesus Vole, or perhaps a new troublemaker.

To fix things, you join Bamse, the world’s strongest and kindest bear, and his friends Little Hop and Shellman. You go on a quest to catch the rogue wands and uncover who’s really behind the mystery.

Across 45 colourful levels, you explore enchanting landscapes, solve puzzles, and meet familiar faces like Lisa and Mary-Anne. While the adventure is filled with magic and mischief, it also quietly encourages children to think critically, read clues, and sharpen their logic.

Bamse’s Adventure: The Wand Mystery mixes exploration and education so that it feels more like play than practice. Catch a glimpse of the game below.
