Ava Labs Appoints Laura Nguyen As First Vietnam Head To Boost Avalanche Adoption

According to Foresight News, Ava Labs has announced the appointment of Laura Nguyen as its first Vietnam Head.

This appointment move is aimed at promoting the adoption of Avalanche in Vietnam and fostering business and community development.

Ava Labs also confirmed this appointment on their social media page,

“As we continue to focus on accelerating blockchain adoption in the APAC region, and we’re thrilled to welcome Laura Nguyen as our new Head of Vietnam!”

According to Ava Labs, Laura will focus on fostering both community and business development for Avalanche in the region.

Ava Labs believes that Vietnam is fertile land for blockchain companies and startups. Lydia, Ava Labs VP of Business Development, took to her X (formerly twitter) handle to say that,

“Vietnam is rich in builders and startups that are already building on the frontier of blockchain. Laura’s experience uniquely positions her to onboard talented developers onto Avalanche from both Web2 and Web3 ecosystems.” 

To inaugurate her new position, Ava Labs and Laura will be hosting a hackathon in collaboration with SotaTek in Hanoi on the 7th of December, 2023. 

About Laura Nguyen

Prior to joining Ava Labs, Nguyen worked at Amazon Web Services, primarily in Vietnam and the Philippines, assisting Web2 and Web3 startups in utilizing cloud services. 

Before her stint at Amazon, Nguyen helped banks and governments implement cybersecurity programs.
