Aston Villa Announces Partnership With Duelbits

Aston Villa are amongst some of the English Premier League teams that are taking a step towards digital gambling and online gaming sponsorship.

With the recent headlines surrounding teams and the kit sponsorships they have with gambling companies, it comes as a surprise to see Aston Villa turning in this direction for their business growth. With crypto gaming having a boom over the past 12-18 months, it’s no surprise the Villains want a piece of the blockchain pie!

The two parties have come together for the first time, officially labelling Duelbits as Aston Villa’s European Betting Partner.

With the 2022/2023 Premier League season underway, this recent mainstream exposure will no doubt have some form of impact on the crypto sports sector.

What is Duelbits?

Many are aware of Aston Villa, and if not, they are aware of football (soccer) teams. And whoever likes betting on said football teams, must have heard about Duelbits, too. Duelbits is one of our featured providers, and you can learn more about them in our Duelbits review.

Founded in 2020, Duelbits is an online casino and crypto betting platform. This service has one aim, and that is to merge casinos and betting exchanges into one.

Primarily focused on crypto, Duelbits also allows users to deposit funds into their account via bank/credit card and also PayPal. This acts as a gateway for people who are fairly new to crypto who are still learning the ropes.

Currently, there are 3 main game modes on Duelbits: Crash, Roulette, and Dice Duel. Users are able to earn lucrative rewards from both gameplay and referrals.

Building awareness

With Duelbits being within a niche, within a niche, their aims with this recent collaboration are to bring awareness to the brand in the U.K.

Cryptocurrencies have made their way into the mainstream in Europe over the past few months, and the start of this season has not been a better time for them to make their impact overseas.

Stake.com, another online gambling and casino service, has also been on the rise in popularity over the past few months. Similarly, Watford FC have landed their sponsorship on kits for the new season.

Over in America, blockchain branding has taken the entertainment and esports industries by storm, so it was only a matter of time before it ended up in the United Kingdom. Companies such as SoFi and Crypto.com have been able to gain major exposure through their high-calibre collaborations and ventures within this space.

Bringing this over to the U.K should hopefully act as a catalyst for people to start taking blockchain technologies more seriously. Having teams like the above promote these services to their loyal fanbase will legitimise crypto further as many are still sceptical about it due to the recent crashes the market has seen.

Overall, this is the correct direction the crypto space must go in to further indent it’s ethos and technologies into society. Having large organisations promote these brands creates familiarity, allowing more growth going into the future.

This may not be the last time we hear about Duelbits, what’s your thoughts on this recent partnership?
