Animal Crossing: New Horizons spring seasonal items added in the Anniversary Update. The game has officially been out for one year and Nintendo is celebrating with an anniversary update. This new update will officially make the Sanrio collaboration pack compatible with the game, introduce new features, and of course, release new spring seasonal items.

The most notable of the new spring seasonal items include the high school prom set. A prom sash, prom night floor, and prom night wall are all available in Nook Shopping for the month of April, with different colors rotating in and out each day. For high school players who may not be able to experience a normal prom thanks to the pandemic, this is something that may cheer them up.
There’s also a new whoopie cushion item that will be available from the week of March 26 to April 1, with different colors each day. This item is obviously meant for April fools day, so players should be ready to both play pranks and be pranked. Let the chaos ensue.
The Anniversary update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be released March 18.
