The 2025 season is just beginning, but it is never too early to look ahead. Here is the 2026 NFL Mock Draft August 28.
Note: This draft order is from current Super Bowl odds.
1. New Orleans Saints- Arch Manning, QB, Texas
The Saints are in dire need of a quarterback, but don’t have too bad of a supporting cast. They can take the hometown Manning, who has good athleticism and arm strength. Showing he can handle pressure this season can confirm his already lofty draft stock.
2. Cleveland Browns- Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU
The Browns took two quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft, but if neither establishes himself, they will need to go with a quarterback early in the 2026 draft. Nussmeier is a gunslinger at quarterback, but if he can limit his mistakes, he could be taken early in the draft.
3. New York Jets- Cade Klubnik, QB, Clemson
The Jets have Justin Fields, but are likely looking for a long-time answer at quarterback. Klubnik can make plays with his arm and his legs after really taking a step forward last season.
4. New York Giants- Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama
If Jaxson Dart proves himself this year, they will need to get an offensive tackle to improve the offensive line. Proctor is big, but moves well for his size and can be molded into a great NFL offensive tackle.
5. Tennessee Titans- T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson
After taking Cam Ward in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Titans can work on improving their defense. Parker is the best edge rusher in the class as of now, registering 11 sacks in 2024 and a big year is expected in 2025.
6. Carolina Panthers- Peter Woods, DL, Clemson
The Panthers did not play well defensively last season and need help all over. Woods is a disruptive player on the interior of the defensive line who can open things up for his teammates.
7. Las Vegas Raiders- Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
Las Vegas now has Pete Carroll as head coach and he’ll want to have a great secondary like he did in Seattle. Downs could be the best player in the class when not accounting for positional value. He has great athleticism and instincts.
8. Miami Dolphins- Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
While they upgraded the interior offensive line in the 2025 draft, they could still use some better tackle play. Fano could play either tackle spot and has solid athleticism for the position.
9. Indianapolis Colts- LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina
The Colts don’t have an answer at quarterback and will likely need to take on in 2026. Sellers is a good threat to run with the football, but he is more developed as a passer than most rushing threats, but needs to continue developing in that area.
10. New England Patriots- Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
New England might need some more juice at wide receiver unless Kyle Williams really steps up this season. Tyson had a great 2024 season, but was injured down the stretch. When healthy, he displays good route running and ability to run after the catch.
11. Cleveland Browns (via Jax)- Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
After the Browns took a quarterback earlier, they need to get a more dynamic outside target. Boston played behind plenty of talented receivers at Washington in 2023, but broke out last season and showed to be a true no. 1 target.
12. Los Angeles Rams (via LAR)- Drew Allar, QB, Penn State
Matthew Stafford is having more and more health issues. He likely will be retiring soon and Allar could be selected to either start right away or to wait a season and develop behind Stafford.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers- Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
The Steelers also have an older quarterback and need to find a replacement for the future. Mendoza has good accuracy and played well at Cal before transferring to Indiana, where he has the chance for a big season.
14. Seattle Seahawks- Antonio Williams, WR, Clemson
Getting Cooper Kupp is nice, but the Seahawks need more help and a better plan at reciever. Williams is great with the ball in his hands and can create separation.
15. Dallas Cowboys- Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
The cornerback position is banged up for the Cowboys and they could use some more talent. McCoy tore his ACL in January, so he needs to come back and play well to ensure that he is the best corner in the class.
16. Arizona Cardinals- Anthony Hill, LB, Texas
Arizona improved their defense this offseason, but can still get better linebacker play. Hill can do a little bit of everything and flies all over the field.
17. Chicago Bears- Keldric Faulk, EDGE, Auburn
The Bears have a good defense, but could have a more effective pass rush. Faulk is a big edger rusher that isn’t always used the best way at Auburn, but could have a big year nonetheless.
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Rueben Bain, EDGE, Miami
If Haasan Reddick doesn’t pan out, the Bucs might need another edge rusher this offseason. Bain is a shorter edge rusher, but has a well-filled out frame and can get after the quarterback when healhty.
19. Houston Texans- Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
The Texans have running back issues with Joe Mixon and Nick Chubb aging and dealing with injuries. Love is a dynamic running back who presents great value for the Texans this late in the first round.
20. Los Angeles Chargers- Caleb Banks, DL, Florida
The Chargers could use more disruption from their interior defensive line and Banks can provide that.
21. Denver Broncos- Aveion Terrell, CB, Clemson
Denver made plenty of improvements to their roster, including their defense last season, but can improve their second corner spot. Terrell is the younger brother of AJ and has good athleticism to match up well in the NFL.
22. Cincinnati Bengals- Malik Muhammad, CB, Texas
The Bengals have plenty of defensive issues and some of them stem from moving safeties to cornerback. Muhammad can mirror receivers well and improve a bad defensive unit.
23. Minnesota Vikings- Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon
Minnesota has a well-built roster, but Harrison Smtih is close to retirement. Thieneman has been a tackle machine in his college career and could thrive in the Vikings’ defense.
24. San Francisco 49ers- Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
Trent Williams is aging and will need to be replaced soon. The offensive line is crucial for the success of the offense and Mauigoa can help as one of the better tackles in the class.
25. Los Angeles Rams- Jalon Kilgore, CB, South Carolina
The Rams have a weakness at corner and will need to address it next offseason. Kilgore had five interceptions in 2024.
26. Washington Commanders- Isaiah World, OT, Oregon
The Commanders have some holes on the offensive line. World is transferring from Nevada to Oregon, but needs to clean up his technique and penalties.
27. Green Bay Packers- Matayo Uiagalelei, EDGE, Oregon
Green Bay could use some help off the edge across from Rashan Gary. Uiagalelei has good athleticism to get after the passer, but also sets the edge well.
28. Detroit Lions- LT Overton, EDGE, Alabama
Getting more of a pass rush across from Aidan Hutchinson could really help the defense. Overton is a bigger edge rusher who could also rush from the inside if needed.
29. Kansas City Chiefs- Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State
George Karlaftis has been solid on the edge, but the Chiefs could use another one. Dennis-Sutton could’ve gone pro last season, but instead decided to return to college an improve on his 8.5 sacks from the year before.
30. Philadelphia Eagles- Christen Miller, DL, Georgia
The Eagles like to build from the trenches. Miller can help with that as a player that can take on multiple blockers and hold his ground.
31. Buffalo Bills- CJ Allen, LB, Georgia
Buffalo’s defense wasn’t as good last season as it had been in past seasons. Allen can help provide more consistent, and hopefully healthier, linebacker play in the middle of the defense.
32. Baltimore Ravens- David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
The Ravens could use more help on the edge. Bailey did well in limited time at Stanford, but really needs to show what he can do at Texas Tech.
