2024 NFL Mock Draft August 23

Date:

The 2022 NFL Draft has just ended, but it is never too early to look ahead. Here is the 2024 NFL Mock Draft August 23.

Note: This draft order is from current Super Bowl odds.

NFL Mock Draft

1. Arizona Cardinals- Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

Harrison Jr. is the best wide receiver the draft has seen in the last few years and quite possibly the best prospect in the class. Arizona should be fielding offers for this pick from a team looking to take a quarterback, but it is too early to predict trades.

2. Arizona Cardinals (via HOU)- Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State

The Cardinals can use their extra first-round pick to get Verse, who had a great season at Florida State in 2022 after transferring in from Albany.

3. Indianapolis Colts- Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

Indianapolis is currently looking to trade Jonathan Taylor, but have plenty of holes to fill on the roster. They can draft McKinstry who can build on a solid start to his collegiate career this season.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Caleb Williams, QB, USC

Realistically, Williams will be off the board already, but it’s too early to predict trades. Williams has crazy arm talent and can be the next franchise quarterback for the Buccaneers.

5. Las Vegas Raiders- Kalen King, CB, Penn State

The Raiders can address the secondary in this draft after spending capital on the offense this offseason.

6. Washington Commanders- Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina

Washington is starting Sam Howell at quarterback this year, but if it doesn’t work out they will be in the market for a quarterback next offseason.

7. Los Angeles Rams- Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

With quarterbacks off the board, if Matthew Stafford can play a few more years, they can get him one of the more unique weapons in the last few drafts. Bowers moves well for a tight end and is sometimes used to run the ball for Georgia.

8. New England Patriots- Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State

New England is starting Riley Reiff at right tackle this year and could benefit from getting a younger player at the position.

9. Chicago Bears (via CAR)- Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama

The Bears have beefed up the offense and now need to do more on the defensive side of the ball. Turner can help the Bears get after the quarterback.

10. Tennessee Titans- Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame

Tennessee could go for a quarterback if they are drafting higher, but can fix their offensive line to help the quarterbacks they currently have on the roster.

11. Chicago Bears- Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State

After already improving the defensive line, the Bears can improve the secondary by taking Burke.

12. Atlanta Falcons- Michael Penix, QB, Washington

If Desmond Ridder doesn’t show signs of improvement, the Falcons may elect to draft a quarterback again.

13. New York Giants- Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State

The Giants can get another young pass rusher across from Kayvon Thibodeaux and Robinson is set for a big year at Penn State.

14. Pittsburgh Steelers- Jer’Zhan Newton, DL, Illinois

Pittsburgh has secured enough weapons for Kenny Pickett to improve, but can get better on the defensive line with the selection of Newton, who just feels like a Steelers pick.

15. Denver Broncos- Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa

Denver has one good corner in Pat Surtain II, but still need to find someone to play across from him.

16. New Orleans Saints- Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia

Lassiter played well in 2022 and can build on that in 2023. He would help the Saints, as they need more help at corner outside of Marshon Lattimore.

17. Green Bay Packers- Maason Smith, DL, LSU

Green Bay can get a very talented nose tackle in Smith, who missed most of last season with an injury.

18. Seattle Seahawks- Leonard Taylor, DL, Miami

Seattle drafted a corner and wide receiver last season, but this season can improve in the trenches.

19. Minnesota Vikings- Michael Hall, DL, Ohio State

The Vikings went after edge rushers this offseason and now can improve the interior of their defensive line.

20. Houston Texans (via CLE)- Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

Although they were able to give C.J. Stroud some weapons already, they can get his college teammate to really give him some comfort.

21. Jacksonville Jaguars- J.C. Latham, OT, Alabama

They lost Jawaan Taylor this offseason and drafted Anton Harrison, but they could use more help on the offensive line.

22. Miami Dolphins- Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

Having Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle is nice, but the Dolphins can be even more dynamic with another receiver on the offense like Worthy.

23. Los Angeles Chargers- Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB, Clemson

The Chargers have struggled to find a good linebacker for a while and Trotter is a physical presence in the middle.

24. Detroit Lions- J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State

Tuimoloau is a physical edge rusher that will fit what Dan Campbell wants in a football player.

25. New York Jets- Donovan Jackson, IOL, Ohio State

New York needs to make sure Aaron Rodgers is protected as long as he is at quarterback.

26. Baltimore Ravens- Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA

The Ravens can get after the quarterback more with the selection of Latu, but he does have some injury concerns.

27. Dallas Cowboys- Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

Getting Brandin Cooks will help the offense this year, while getting Nabers in the 2024 NFL Draft will help the team in the future.

28. San Francisco 49ers- Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington

The 49ers can get a good edge rusher to pair with Nick Bosa late in the first round.

29. Cincinnati Bengals- TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State

While the Bengals have restructured Joe Mixon’s contract, he likely won’t be on the Bengals for too many more seasons. They can get the best running back in this draft class, which could end up being Henderson.

30. Buffalo Bills- Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

The Bills have struggled to find a number two receiver behind Stefon Diggs and Odunze can fill that role.

31. Philadelphia Eagles- Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson

Philadelphia has plenty of playmakers in the secondary and on the line, but they could use another impact linebacker.

32. Kansas City Chiefs- Kris Jenkins- DL, Michigan

The Chiefs could really improve their defense by pairing Jenkins with Chris Jones.
