Now that the 2022 NFL Draft is over, the TGH staff have ranked their top 100 players ahead of the 2022 NFL season.
Multiple TGH staff members voted on their top 100 players, who were given scores based on their ranks, then sorted by their final score. The players were ranked regardless of position, and the editors broke any ties at their discretion.
Each article in this series will list 10 players at a time, with brief comments on their 2021 performances and what is expected of them in 2022. Make sure to check back every Friday for the next 10 players in our list!
Today, we list and evaluate the top 10 players in our list of the 2022 NFL Top 100.

10. Myles Garrett
A former first overall selection of the 2017 NFL Draft, Myles Garrett has become one of the most dominant defensive players in the entire league. He’s made three Pro Bowls and back-to-back First Team All-Pros in 2020 and 2021.
Last season, Garrett played all 17 games, racking up 16 sacks, 51 combined tackles, three defended passes and a forced fumble. He added a fumble recovery and his first career touchdown in 2021 as well. That sack total was a career-best for the 26-year-old. He’ll no doubt be looking to set another personal best in 2022. -Ben Hendricks
9. Quenton Nelson
Nelson has performed at an elite level ever since he entered the league. He has played four seasons, making four Pro Bowls and three All-Pro teams already. Last season his blocking helped Jonathan Taylor claim the rushing title. In 2022, his blocking will be crucial to help Matt Ryan and the passing game. If things go according to plan, Nelson can help lead the Colts back to the playoffs and maybe a little bit further. -Joe DiTullio
8. Davante Adams
Much to the chagrin of Packers fans everywhere, Davante Adams, inarguably one of the best receivers in the NFL, wanted to be moved to the Raiders. Now Green Bay has the task of replacing his 123 catches, 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns. Adams will now play with his former college teammate Derek Carr, hoping the familiar connection will push him to even greater heights. -Ben Hendricks
7. Trent Williams
It doesn’t appear that Williams is showing any signs of slowing down. After eight straight seasons of Pro Bowls, he made a ninth last season and made his first All-Pro team. He has great athleticism for the position and is truly one of the cornerstone left tackles in the game. The 49ers may have some things to figure out at the quarterback position this year, but left tackle isn’t a worry because Williams is elite. -Joe DiTullio
6. Jalen Ramsey
Ramsey is one the best cornerbacks in the NFL. He is a five-time Pro Bowler and a three-time First Team All-Pro. He had a stellar 2021 season where he had 77 combined tackles, four interceptions and nine tackles for a loss. Ramsey ended his dominating 2021 season with his first Super Bowl Ring with the Rams. He will be looking to do much of the same the same going into the 2022 season. -Matthew Brown
5. T.J. Watt
T.J. Watt just wrapped up his third consecutive First Team All-Pro season and his fourth-straight Pro Bowl season. His 22.5 sack total (an NFL-best) was rewarded with the AP Defensive Player of the Year award in 2021. He also added 64 tackles, seven defended passes and five forced fumbles in just 15 games last year. He’ll continue to war with Myles Garrett for defensive dominance in the AFC North next season. -Ben Hendricks
4. Tom Brady
Tom Brady is a sure-fire Hall of Fame quarterback and a living legend in the annals of the NFL. Throughout his career, Brady has won seven Super Bowl Rings with the most recent being in 2020. He is a three-time NFL MVP, a two-time AP Offensive Player of the Year and a 15-time Pro Bowler.
In 2021, he led the Buccaneers to the Playoffs before losing to eventual Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams. He finished the season with over 5,000 passing yards, 43 touchdowns and six interceptions. At the age of 44, Brady is still one of the best quarterbacks in the league and will be shooting for his eighth Super Bowl Ring in 2022. -Matthew Brown
3. Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers secured his second straight MVP in 2021. This gives him four total NFL MVPs, which leaves him just one shy of tying Peyton Manning for most all-time. He is the most talented and accurate thrower of the football that the game has ever seen, judging from his 10 total 4,000-plus yard passing seasons. He also has the best touchdown-to-interception ratio in the history of the sport. Rodgers may need every ounce of that talent to lead an inexperienced receiving core to a Super Bowl next season. -Ben Hendricks
2. Cooper Kupp
Kupp accomplished a very rare feat in 2021 that skyrocketed him to first runner-up in TGH’s NFL Top 100. He grabbed the receiving triple crown, leading the NFL in catches (145), yards (1,947) and touchdowns (16). This obviously led to a First Team All-Pro nod and a Pro Bowl selection. He capped off his insane year with a Super Bowl MVP. -Ben Hendricks
1. Aaron Donald
Donald continues to prove why he is the best player in the game. Last season he helped the Rams win a Super Bowl, which was the first of his career. In the process, he greatly helped his legacy. He is one of the greatest football players of all time and continues to pile up sack totals that are unheard of for interior defensive linemen. At 31 years old, Donald looks like he has a few good years left in him. -Joe DiTullio
